Paralegal

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Paralegal. This Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys in all stages of litigation, particularly in Third party/General Liability cases.

Duties:

• Prepare responses to requests for information, including discovery requests and interrogatories
• Communicates with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel
• Prepare trial exhibits, coordinating witness testimony , and assisting with trial preparation.
• Coordinating depositions, hearings, and other court-related events
• Calendar trial order timely
• Identify and contacting expert witness who can provide testimony in the case
• Capture billable time in case management system
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• 2+ years of experience in civil defense work
• Understanding of legal language and principles, research methods, court pleadings and processes, and other related matters.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, and to exercise discretion and good judgment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
