Sitemetric seeks a bar-raising Paralegal to play a lead role supporting development of commercial agreements—negotiation, drafting, review, refinement—and managing their full lifecycle. You will also streamline legal process to support business operations. In this role you will work closely with in-house and outside counsel along with other Sitemetric areas and executive leadership.

About the Role

As a high-impact Paralegal you will focus on supporting the negotiation, drafting, review, refinement, and lifecycle management of a wide variety of commercial agreements, as well as helping to streamline legal processes and support business operations across multiple jurisdictions, working closely with in-house legal counsel, other Sitemetric areas, our leadership team, and outside counsel.

Key Responsibilities

Core responsibilities include:

  • Commercial agreements: Work with in-house counsel to draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including vendor, customer, partnership, SaaS, licensing, distribution, and confidentiality agreements.
  • Contract lifecycle management: Support Sitemetric legal team in contract lifecycle management, from initial review to execution and archiving. Understand and deploy software tools to more efficiently support internal clients.
  • Internal and external collaboration: Collaborate closely with business teams (sales, operations, finance, HR, etc.) to support business objectives while managing contractual risk. Coordinate with outside counsel as needed on specialized matters and cross-border transactions.
  • Strategic documentation: Assist in maintaining and improving contract templates, playbooks, and legal process documentation with sharp focus on customer service and business needs.
  • Audit/regulatory: Assist with audit and regulatory reporting requests.
  • Operations: Participate in legal department initiatives to automate or streamline contract workflows in a high-growth environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant with significant focus on commercial contracts in a fast-moving, international setting.
  • At least 3 years of experience working in-house, preferably within a start-up, rapidly scaling company, or the commercial construction industry.
  • Juris doctor, paralegal certification, or other relevant professional education or certificates strongly preferred.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written).
  • Advanced skills in another language are preferred, but not required.
  • Strong understanding of contract principles, risk allocation, and business operations.
  • Excellent organizational skills with sharp attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • High integrity, discretion, and professionalism when handling confidential information.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite and contract management tools or platforms.
  • Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening process (drug screen and background checks)

Additional Information

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this remote position ranges from $38.00 to $44.00 per hour. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and jobsite upon which work is being performed, and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, credentials, and experience.
