Paralegal

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Paralegal to support the Legal Counsel across our business units ZIGChain, Zignaly, and Zamanat. This role spans Web3, fintech, and traditional legal domains, covering multi-jurisdictional regulatory work, licensing, contract management, and legal research. Prior Web3 experience is not required - strong analytical ability, research skills, and a willingness to learn are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Legal Counsel with regulatory research, including digital asset regulations, tokenization frameworks, financial services licensing, and compliance requirements across global jurisdictions.

• Assist in contract lifecycle management: drafting, organizing, tracking, and maintaining agreements (NDAs, service agreements, vendor contracts, tokenization agreements, partnership MOUs, etc.).

• Prepare briefing notes, memos, and summaries on legal and regulatory developments relevant to blockchain, fintech, and investment structures.

• Coordinate documentation for licensing processes (e.g., VASP, fund structures, DIFC/South Africa/Cayman/other regimes).

• Maintain organized document repositories, templates, and internal knowledge bases.

• Support due diligence processes for new partners, token issuers, and ecosystem participants.

• Liaise with internal teams (BD, Finance, Compliance, Product) to gather information required for legal filings or contract preparation.

• Assist with policy drafting (e.g., compliance manuals, governance frameworks, disclosure documents) under the supervision of Legal Counsel.

• Conduct a comparative analysis of Web3 regulations vs traditional frameworks as directed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, Business Law, or related field.
• 1–3 years of paralegal, research, legal assistant, or compliance experience (technology or finance sectors preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong capability in legal research, summarization, and analysis.
• Exceptional attention to detail; ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain clean, structured documentation.
• Excellent written and spoken English; ability to draft concise memos and summaries.
• High learning agility and comfort working in fast‐moving environments.
• Interest in Web3, fintech, digital assets, and new financial infrastructure (training provided).

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with contract drafting or regulatory filings.
• Exposure to corporate law, financial services, or compliance frameworks.
• Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams in distributed organizations.
