<Responsibilities>
- Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support ongoing cases across various practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, and more.
- Assist attorneys with drafting legal documents, contracts, pleadings, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
- Manage case files and documents efficiently using document management systems like iManage and PCLaw; ensure all records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Review and analyze legal documents for accuracy, consistency, and compliance; perform detailed proofreading and transcription tasks.
- Support litigation processes by organizing evidence, preparing discovery materials, and coordinating document review sessions.
- Conduct interviews with clients or witnesses to gather pertinent information for cases involving personal injury law, workers' compensation law, or landlord-tenant disputes.
- Maintain excellent communication with clients, courts, and external agencies via phone etiquette and professional correspondence.
- Assist with administrative duties such as data entry, filing, scheduling appointments, and providing executive administrative support to attorneys.
<Skills>
- Proven experience as a paralegal or in a legal administrative role within a law office setting.
- Strong knowledge of diverse practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, and immigration law.
- Proficiency with legal research platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw; familiarity with case management software like iManage and PCLaw is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Effective writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; keen proofreading abilities to ensure accuracy.
- Ability to perform thorough legal research and document review efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Strong project management skills to coordinate case activities from inception through resolution.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
