Paralegal Assistant

Position: Paralegal Assistant
Experience: Minimum 5 years of legal experience in Qatar and GCC

Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal Assistant with at least five years of legal experience within Qatar and the GCC. The ideal candidate will support our legal team in case preparation, documentation, client coordination, and administrative tasks, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow within the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist lawyers in preparing legal documents, filings, case summaries, and correspondence.
  • Draft and review letters, memos, and basic legal templates under the supervision of attorneys.
  • Conduct legal research and compile relevant laws, regulations, and court procedures in Qatar and GCC jurisdictions.
  • Maintain, organize, and update case files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Coordinate with clients, courts, government entities, and external stakeholders.
  • Manage schedules, hearings, deadlines, and follow-up tasks.
  • Prepare reports, meeting minutes, and documentation required for litigation or corporate matters.
  • Support the team in preparing bundles for hearings, expert meetings, and arbitration sessions.
  • Assist in translation of documents (Arabic–English and vice versa) when required.
  • Perform general administrative and office support for the legal department.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of legal experience in Qatar and/or GCC.
  • Arabic-speaking female candidate.
  • Strong knowledge of Qatar court procedures, government portals (MOJ, Metrash, Hukoomi), and legal terminology.
  • Excellent drafting and communication skills in Arabic; good command of English is an advantage.
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and handle high-volume workloads efficiently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal case management systems (if applicable).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in a law firm or legal department in Qatar.
  • Familiarity with litigation workflows, execution procedures, and legal documentation standards.
  • Strong time-management and organizational abilities.
