Job Summary:
The Paralegal Trainee will assist the legal and compliance team in research, drafting, documentation, and regulatory compliance. This role is ideal for candidates with a basic understanding of Indian laws who are eager to build a career in corporate legal services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research using online databases, government portals, and other resources.
- Draft contracts, notices, legal correspondence, and summaries of case laws or agreements.
- Assist with ROC filings, stamp duty, notarization, KYC documentation, and regulatory submissions.
- Maintain organized records, case files, and legal documents.
- Review agreements and legal documents, identifying risks and discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members and support the legal department in day-to-day operations.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Core Legal Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of Indian laws (Contract Act, Companies Act, Arbitration Act, etc.)
- Familiarity with legal terminology and documentation
- Awareness of compliance requirements (FEMA, RBI guidelines for cross-border transactions)
Research & Drafting Skills:
- Strong ability to conduct legal research and draft contracts, notices, and summaries
- Prepare briefs and reports from agreements or case laws
Documentation & Filing:
- Knowledge of ROC filings, stamp duty, notarization
- Handling KYC and regulatory documentation
- Organizing and maintaining legal records
Analytical & Communication Skills:
- Attention to detail in reviewing agreements
- Good written and verbal communication in English
- Ability to interpret clauses and identify potential risks
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with legal management software is a plus
Soft Skills:
- Time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Team collaboration and adaptability
- High level of confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information
Eligibility / Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) / Paralegal Studies or related field
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience preferred

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
