Paralegal - Estate Administration

Position: Paralegal – Estate Administration
Firm: Timoney Knox, LLP
Location: Fort Washington, PA

Timoney Knox, LLP, a well-regarded Law Firm with over 100 years of history in Montgomery County, is seeking an experienced Estate Administration paralegal to join our growing team. In this role, the successful candidate will take on general responsibility for all aspects of the administration of Estates and Trusts. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will interact with attorneys, clients and colleagues regularly.

Job Duties

• Identify Estate assets;
• Perform Probate functions;
• Independently administer Estates;
• Maintain financial records;
• Review and file income, inheritance and Estate tax returns;
• Prepare fiduciary accountings, Receipt and Release Agreements, Schedules of Distribution and other documents as required;

Qualifications

• Experience independently administering Estates;
• Experience preparing income tax returns for individuals, Estates and Trusts;
• Strong aptitude for complex financial matters;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Commitment to client service;
• Ability to reliably commute to Fort Washington, PA;
• Ability to work in a fully in-office setting;
• Pennsylvania Notary Public not required, but highly preferred.
