Full Description of Vacancy:

Paralegals or Advocates, ideally experienced, with an English LLB/LLM/BVC/BTC and great English language skills to provide support to our lawyers and work groups (Litigation; Insolvency; Tax Litigation). Our City of London legal services firm of Solicitors & Barristers operates to very high professional standards and looks for junior lawyers who are capable of and wish to do the same.

Would suit dedicated and hard-working ambitious graduates with a strong academic background; committed to learning new professional skills and gaining legal knowledge and those holding a genuine desire to support the firm’s solicitors and barristers and follow their guidance.

Key Tasks & Duties:

  • Electronic administration of files in our paperless office via Clio CMS
  • To support the team and individual fee earners, with administrative tasks and action work as delegated by others
  • Electronic document & file management & bundling
  • Providing telephone reception cover
  • Answering phone calls and greeting clients
  • Liaising with clients, including the receipt of key documents
  • Liaising with Chambers and mediation venues
  • Filing documents on our systems & Court where necessary
  • Ensuring incoming & outgoing post is dealt with effectively
  • Writing SEO optimised legal articles on our blog websites
  • Diarising key events & ensuring tasks/diaries maintained
  • Conducting a daily firm wide agenda/calendar check meeting
  • Opening new matter instructions accurately and on-boarding clients
  • Ensure work issues or problems are reported immediately
  • Any other tasks required to support the team

  • Must have excellent organisational skills;
  • Must have excellent attention to detail;
  • Good IT skills – able to open, read, input & edit, Word,
  • Excel and Outlook documents and use Clio CMS;
  • Excellent communication skills with a professional manner;
  • Detail conscious and precise;
  • Professional telephone manner;
  • Previous work experience involving dealing with people is useful but not essential.
  • Strong academic qualifications;
  • Able to prioritise & recognise importance and urgency; and
  • Proficient English language skills.

Working Week (include how long lunch break is):

Your normal hours of work will be 40 hours per week, to be worked during the hours of 9am GMT to 6pm GMT on Mondays to Fridays inclusive with a lunch break of one hour (to be taken at noon GMT). You may have to work late or on weekends to help meet client deadlines.

Future Prospects description:

Could lead to a role as full-time Barrister or Solicitor qualification via Solicitors Qualifying Exams working either remotely or on a skilled workers visa in the UK for exceptional candidates.

Interview Start Date: ASAP

Monthly Salary: PKR 1,25,000 to 1,70,000 (based on experience) paid monthly with bonuses available for exceptional performance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs125,000.00 - Rs170,000.00 per month
