San Diego Elder Law Center is growing and is looking for a paralegal with not less than 2 years of recent experience in one or more of the following areas:
Trust Administration- Probate
- Estate Planning
- Conservatorships
We will also consider paralegals with similar experience in family law practice. This is a full-time position with good benefits. We are a very well-respected firm, currently with 5 attorneys, 4 paralegals, and five administrative support staff. We have an excellent chemistry and a team-oriented attitude. Our office supports a hybrid work environment.
We have a broad-based trust and estate practice, with an emphasis on elder, incapacity, and special needs matters. Candidate will ideally possess some or all of the following skills or analogous skills in family law:
Readily familiar with drafting and filing of pleadings related to trust/probate administration and conservatorships;
Working knowledge of Probate Code, Local and State Rules of Court;
Knowledge of rules and procedures of pleading and practice in estate administration of court supervised matters;
Good to Excellent computer skills;
Self-Starter able to manage caseload from start to finish;
Excellent phone skills, and the ability to develop and nurture client relationships;
Familiarity with estate planning document preparation.

A hired applicant will be start at a pay range between: $30 - $37 per hour based on level of experience. Annual reviews are held, and additional discretionary bonuses may be paid from time to time.
