<Job Summary>
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Paralegal/Case Manager to join our legal team. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing legal cases, conducting comprehensive research, and supporting attorneys across a diverse range of practice areas. Your proactive approach and organizational skills will ensure efficient case progression, meticulous document management, and thorough legal analysis. <Responsibilities>

  • Assist attorneys with case preparation, including drafting legal documents, contracts, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
  • Conduct detailed legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other research tools across multiple practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, tribal law, patent law, and workers' compensation law.
  • Manage case files and documents using iManage and other document management systems to ensure accuracy and easy retrieval.
  • Review and analyze legal documents for consistency, completeness, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Support project management efforts by coordinating deadlines, tracking case progress, and maintaining detailed records of all case activities.
  • Perform data entry tasks related to client information, case details, and court filings with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Conduct client interviews and gather pertinent information to assist attorneys in building strong cases.
  • Proofread legal drafts for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to formatting standards; transcribe dictations as needed.
  • Provide executive administrative support including calendar management, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence efficiently.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and organizational skills.

<Qualifications>

  • Proven paralegal experience or equivalent legal administrative experience in a fast-paced law office environment.
  • Strong knowledge of multiple practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, landlord-tenant law, immigration law, UCC law (Uniform Commercial Code), and litigation procedures.
  • Proficiency with legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis.
  • Experience with document review systems like iManage or similar platforms; familiarity with PCLaw or other case management software is a plus.
  • Excellent research skills combined with the ability to synthesize complex legal information clearly and accurately.
  • Exceptional writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; proofreading expertise is essential.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Competence in data entry tasks and familiarity with document management systems for efficient workflow management.
  • Effective communication skills complemented by professional phone etiquette; ability to interview clients effectively is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment; project management skills are advantageous. Pay: $25.23 - $30.38 per hour
