Paralegal/Case Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal/Case Manager to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will provide essential support across a variety of legal practice areas, including family law, criminal law, and civil litigation. Your primary focus will be managing legal cases efficiently while ensuring accuracy in document preparation, and client communication. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful legal work in a fast-paced environment while developing your professional skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys with case management by organizing and maintaining legal files using document management systems such as practice panther and Clio.
  • Draft, review, and proofread legal documents including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
  • Manage document review processes and coordinate data entry tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance with firm standards.
  • Support project management initiatives by tracking deadlines, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings with clients and stakeholders.
  • Interview clients and witnesses to gather pertinent information for ongoing cases while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Provide executive administrative support such as calendar management, phone etiquette, filing, and organization of legal materials to streamline office operations.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency (or ability to learn) legal case management software including PCLaw and document management systems like iManage.
  • Experience (or ability to learn) legal administrative tasks such as data entry, filing systems, transcription, and document review.
  • Organizational skills capable of managing multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines efficiently.
  • Effective communication skills for interviewing clients/witnesses and liaising with attorneys and external partners.
  • Ability to handle clerical responsibilities with professionalism including phone etiquette and administrative support functions. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.15 - $30.28 per hour
