Part-Time Accountant

Position: Part-Time Accountant
Company: HostBreak Web Technologies (IT & Web-Hosting)
Location: Remote/Hybrid – Bahria Town Phase 6 Islamabad
Hours: 2 hours per day (between 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM PKT, Mon–Fri)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily bookkeeping and monthly financial statements in QuickBooks Online.
• Prepare and file income tax, sales tax, and withholding statements in compliance with Pakistan tax laws (FBR, PRA/SRB, etc.).
• Reconcile bank accounts, customer invoices, vendor payments, and inter-company transfers.
• Generate periodic management reports (cash flow, P&L, balance sheet).
• Support annual audits and coordinate with external auditors/tax consultants.
• Implement best practices for internal controls and document accounting processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Accounting, Finance, or ACCA/CA Inter (preferred).
• 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in IT, SaaS, or export services.
• Deep knowledge of Pakistan tax system: income tax, sales tax, and e-filing compliance.
• QuickBooks expert (desktop & online), able to create custom reports and automation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets for financial analysis.
• Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and ability to work independently during flexible 2-hour windows.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with international remittances and export incentives (IT export codes, Payoneer/Stripe/Paypal).
• Understanding of IFRS and management reporting for multi-entity setups (US/UK subsidiaries).

Compensation

• Negotiable based on experience.

Pay: Rs25,000.00 - Rs40,000.00 per month
