Position Summary
Victory Autism Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated part-time (.5 FTE) Adaptive PE/Physical Education Teacher for the 2025–2026 school year. This role is ideal for educators passionate about fitness, wellness, and inclusive education for neurodiverse students. The teacher will design and implement engaging physical education activities tailored to meet the diverse needs of students in grades 6–12, with a focus on motor skill development, physical health, and life-long fitness habits.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver adaptive PE/Physical Education lessons aligned with student IEPs and physical development goals
• Encourage students to participate in physical activity in a supportive, structured environment
• Foster the development of motor coordination, teamwork, and healthy habits
• Creatively utilize indoor and outdoor school spaces for physical activity
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to ensure a consistent and inclusive learning experience
• Track student progress and maintain necessary documentation

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Education or a related field
• Experience working with students on the autism spectrum is highly preferred
• Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card

Schedule

• This is a part-time (.5 FTE) position
• Specific days and hours to be determined based on school schedule and candidate availability
