Part-Time Administrative Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive Personal and Administrative Assistant to support day-to-day tasks, scheduling, errands, telephone calls, and administrative duties. This is a part-time position (approximately 5-15 hours per week with additional hours possible) ideal for someone who thrives on variety, strong communication, and helping others stay organized and efficient.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Administrative & Organizational Tasks

  • Make and respond to calls, texts, or emails on behalf of the employer.
  • Organize and maintain digital files and physical documents.
  • Prepare simple reports, spreadsheets, or notes as needed.
  • Prepare mailings as needed
  • Develop and maintain address listings
  • Research and complete professional forms as needed, including government applications, grant applications, business filings, other duties as needed and assigned
  • Act as Office Manager for local offices as needed
  • Oversee administrative duties related to mental health and travel / retreat based business, including reservation management, client communications, payments, simple book keeping, and duties as needed.
  • Assist with local non-profit organization as needed and assigned.
  • Complete marketing tasks as assigned
  • Social Media support as needed

Errands & Admin Support

  • Run local errands as needed (USPS, Fed Ex, UPS, local business contacts, etc)
  • Coordinate travel scheduling and tasks as needed
  • Book appointments as needed
  • Manage calendar as needed supporting deadlines, filings, upcoming commitments.

Special Projects (as needed)

  • Internet research (best local service options, pricing comparisons).
  • Travel planning (flights, hotels, itineraries).
  • Event and reservation bookings.
  • Marketing tasks as needed
  • Purchasing / Ordering as needed

Compensation

  • $18.00 to $25.00 per hour
  • Mileage reimbursement

10 hours per week average

Essential Skills & Qualifications

Experience

  • Previous experience in an administrative, office assistant, or personal assistant role is a plus.
  • Experience organizing schedules, communication handling, or household coordination.
  • Familiarity with common office apps (email platforms, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office).

Skills

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication (phone, email, text)
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
  • Basic tech comfort (scheduling tools, spreadsheets, messaging apps)
  • Problem-solving and resourcefulness

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (college credits preferred)
  • Technology literacy and Google Business familiarity
