Part Time After School Teacher

<Job Summary>
We are seeking enthusiastic Part Time After School Teachers to join our vibrant team! In this role, you will inspire and support children aged 4-7 during after-school hours by fostering a positive learning atmosphere. Your energy and dedication will help children develop essential skills while ensuring their safety and well-being.

<Responsibilities>

• Manage classroom activities with enthusiasm, ensuring a structured yet fun environment for children after school
• Implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development and early childhood education principles
• Supervise children during playtime, homework time, and organized activities, maintaining excellent behavior management and classroom management skills
• Provide first aid and respond promptly to minor injuries or health concerns in accordance with safety protocols
• Support children with special needs or behavioral challenges through compassionate guidance and behavior management strategies
• Collaborate with parents and staff to communicate children's progress and address any concerns effectively
• Assist with daily routines such as snack time, bathroom breaks, and transitions between activities

<Experience>

• Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, camp, tutoring, or childcare settings is highly preferred
• Knowledge of childhood development, early childhood education practices, and behavior management techniques is essential
• Certification in first aid and CPR is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not already certified
• Experience working with children with special needs or in inclusive settings is advantageous
• Strong classroom management skills combined with a caring attitude to foster a positive environment for all children
