AutoCAD MEP Essential Training – Trainer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AutoCAD MEP Trainer to deliver essential-level training programs focused on Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) drafting and design. The trainer will be responsible for developing practical, hands-on learning sessions that enable participants to efficiently use AutoCAD MEP tools in real-world construction and facilities projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver AutoCAD MEP Essential Training through classroom or virtual sessions.
• Introduce core MEP concepts including HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and fire protection layouts.
• Train participants on AutoCAD MEP interface, tools, and workflows.
• Demonstrate creation and modification of MEP drawings, schematics, and layouts.
• Teach layer management, blocks, families, annotations, and templates specific to MEP.
• Guide learners in using MEP objects, parametric components, and system coordination.
• Provide hands-on exercises, assignments, and real-world project examples.
• Evaluate participant performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Support learners in applying AutoCAD MEP skills to construction drawings and coordination tasks.
• Ensure training aligns with industry standards and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of hands-on experience in AutoCAD MEP for building services projects.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD MEP software (latest versions preferred).
• Practical knowledge of MEP design standards, symbols, and documentation.
• Prior experience in corporate training, teaching, or technical instruction is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to beginners and intermediate users.

Preferred Certifications

• Autodesk AutoCAD Professional Certification
• Autodesk MEP or Building Design Certification
• Training-related certifications (optional advantage)

Training Outcome Focus

Job Type: Part-time

Expected hours: 35 per week
