Part-Time AutoCAD / Interior Design Tutor

Training Audience: Adult Learners, Graduates & Working Professionals

Rolla Academy is expanding its Interior Design & Drafting Training Division and is looking for passionate AutoCAD / Interior Design Tutors who genuinely enjoy teaching, mentoring, and shaping future professionals — not just operating software.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver structured training in AutoCAD for Interior Design (2D Drafting, Layouts, Detailing & Documentation)
• Teach Interior Design fundamentals including space planning, furniture layouts, materials, lighting concepts, and industry standards
• Guide learners through real-world project simulations and practical assignments
• Help students develop job-ready portfolios suitable for internships and employment
• Explain design concepts clearly — focusing on practical application, not just theory
• Support students at varying skill levels with patience and encouragement
• Track learner progress and provide constructive feedback

Preferred / Added Advantage Skills

• Experience with 3D tools such as:
• SketchUp
• 3ds Max
• Enscape / Lumion (Rendering & Walkthroughs)
• Basic knowledge of Photoshop for presentations
• Understanding of interior drawings standards (floor plans, elevations, sections, BOQs)
• Exposure to real interior fit-out or design projects

• Strong practical experience in AutoCAD & Interior Design projects
• Passion for teaching and mentoring
• Ability to explain the “why” behind design decisions
• Clear communication and presentation skills
• Comfortable handling adult learners and professionals
• Prior teaching or training experience is an advantage — but not mandatory if you enjoy sharing knowledge
