Part time Bilingual Administrative Assistant ( English and Chinese Mandarin)

We are an exporter of recycling materials that is seeking a part time organized and detail-oriented Bilingual Administrative Assistant with a professional, positive attitude, and strong work ethic with teambuilding skills.

Job Duties including but not limited to the following:

  • Work in a professional manner with Customers and Co-workers in Office and Operations Department
  • Ability to learn our Point of Sale (POS) system for daily use
  • Coordinate with production team members to meet daily production goals.
  • Working with our Shipping and Receiving department to meet daily plans and set goals
  • Must work individually and as a team member with coworkers and drivers
  • Tracking and processing shipping containers in and out of the facility
  • Ability to professionally work with local authorities and departments (when necessary)
  • Organize and keep office files accurate and current
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and provide customer service to internal and external customers.

Candidate must possess the following:

  • Bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin)
  • Cashier and/or accounting experience preferred
  • Team building and positive work attitude
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions
  • Must have strong independent work ethics and experience
  • Detail-oriented/ strong multitasking skills
  • Have basic to intermediate computer skills with Microsoft office
  • Ability to work flexible hours (work on Weekends and/or Holidays – when necessary)
  • 3 plus years of experience working in an office environment preferred
  • Must pass a background and drug screening

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Ability to Commute:

  • Oakland, CA 94603 (Required)

Willingness to travel:

  • 25% (Preferred)
