Part-Time Bookkeeper (Restaurant Experience Required)

About Us

The Social House is a private, members-only social club located in downtown Cincinnati, designed to bring together a community of creatives, entrepreneurs, and professionals through elevated dining, events, and shared experiences.

Our space features multiple hospitality concepts, including Trecento, an Italian-inspired restaurant offering elevated pasta dishes, cocktails, and seasonal menus, along with a broader membership-based club experience that includes dining, events, and amenities.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper with strong restaurant accounting experience to support our growing operation.

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage accounting across both our restaurant operations and membership billing systems. This role requires experience handling POS reconciliations, COGS tracking, and recurring revenue models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping in QuickBooks
  • Reconcile daily sales from Toast POS
  • Track and manage food & beverage COGS
  • Handle accounts payable & receivable
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
  • Manage membership billing via Peoplevine
  • Track deferred revenue and recurring payments
  • Assist with monthly close and financial reporting

Qualifications Required:

  • 3+ years bookkeeping experience
  • Restaurant or hospitality accounting experience (required)
  • Experience with POS systems (Toast strongly preferred)
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks
  • Experience with recurring billing or membership models
  • Strong attention to detail and organization

Preferred:

  • Experience with Peoplevine or similar CRM/membership platforms
  • Multi-entity or multi-revenue stream accounting experience
  • Experience in startup, hospitality group, or private club environment
