D&J Educational is a collection of warm and welcoming daycare centers located in the Tucson area. We are dedicated to providing high-quality care and early childhood education for children and to fostering a safe, supportive, and stimulating atmosphere where children can learn, grow, and develop a lifelong love of learning.

We seek a dedicated and enthusiastic Daycare Teacher to join our fantastic team!

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Provide a nurturing and stimulating environment where children feel safe, secure, and encouraged to explore.
• Supervise and interact positively and engagingly with children, both indoors and outdoors.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment. Assist with meal times, nap times, and toileting as needed.
• Observe and document children's progress and development.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's day and development.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required.
• Adhere to all state licensing regulations and center policies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Food handlers permit.
• Valid TB test.
• Previous experience working with children in a licensed daycare or preschool setting for at least 6 months is required.
• Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• A patient, positive, and energetic attitude.
• A genuine love for working with young children and a commitment to their well-being.
• Must be able to pass a background check and fingerprinting.
