Part-Time Content & Marketing Assistant (Outdoor Living Brand)

About the Role
We’re a West Coast brand specializing in luxury fire pits, grills, heaters, and outdoor living products. We’re looking for a part-time content & marketing assistant – perfect for a student or homemaker – who loves creating content, taking photos, and telling visual stories about beautiful outdoor spaces.

What You’ll Do

• Content Creation
• Turn ideas/outlines into simple blog posts and how-to guides
• Write captions and posts for Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and LinkedIn
• Help plan a weekly content calendar (what we post and when)
• Photography & Video
• Take photos and short video clips at our shop (products, behind-the-scenes, new arrivals)
• Visit local job installs (with our team) to capture before/after photos and lifestyle shots
• Organize and label photo/video files so we can reuse them in marketing
• Website & Email
• Upload blogs and images to our website (no coding required)
• Help build simple email newsletters using templates (we’ll train you)
• Creative Tools & AI
• Use tools like Canva for basic graphics and story slides
• Use AI tools (like ChatGPT) to help brainstorm and draft content, then polish it to sound human and on-brand

Skills We’d Love to See

• Basic photography skills (phone or camera)
• Good eye for composition, lighting, and “Instagrammable” shots
• Comfortable on Instagram and TikTok (posting, stories, Reels)
• Bonus: experience with Canva, basic email tools (Mailchimp/Klaviyo/etc.), or any prior content creation work

Details

• Hours: ~10–20 hours per week (flexible around school/family)
• Location: Mix of remote work + in-person at our shop and local job installs (SoCal)
• Compensation: Hourly, based on experience

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
