Part Time Floral Designer with Funeral Design Experience

The Flower Bucket seeks an enthusiastic and creative individual to join our team as a Retail Floral Designer.

The ideal candidate will be expected to maintain an organized and clean work space, communicate effectively, arrive on time, and work efficiently to complete a variety of floral designs. The ideal candidate will be an efficient vase designer as well as funeral arrangement designer.

**You must be willing to work Saturdays as part of your schedule**

This position will also help with answering incoming phone calls, emails, or chats from our clients, assisting walk-in customers select their flowers, and ringing them up. They will also assist with any flower processing and cooler rotation as needed. **You must be willing to answer phones and help our customers**

Qualifications

• Proven experience in floral design, including independently designing funeral sprays, wreaths, urns, everyday vase arrangements, centerpieces, corsages, boutonnieres, and weddings.
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Proficiency in retail sales and cash handling, including POS systems
• Knowledge of horticulture and gardening practices
• Ability to manage inventory and merchandising effectively
• Organizational skills to maintain a well-stocked and appealing display
