Part-Time Hotel Breakfast Attendant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Breakfast Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional breakfast experience for our guests in a hotel setting. This position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Breakfast Attendant will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and cleaning the breakfast area while ensuring that all food items are fresh and appealing.

Duties

• Set up the breakfast area with food items, utensils, and beverages according to hotel standards.
• Ensure that all food items are replenished throughout the breakfast service and presented attractively.
• Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with guests to provide excellent customer service and address any dietary needs or preferences.
• Assist in the preparation of certain food items as needed, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food items and maintain inventory levels.
• Handle guest inquiries and feedback professionally to enhance their overall experience.
• Follow all hotel policies and procedures regarding food safety and sanitation.

Experience

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Experience in a hotel setting or guest services is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
• A background as a delivery driver or dietary aide can be beneficial for understanding customer needs in food service.
• Knowledge of culinary practices or catering services is advantageous but not mandatory.
