This multifaceted position combines Human Resources support with special project coordination in a fast-paced, creative environment. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable wearing multiple hats—balancing employee-focused HR initiatives with some operational and marketing-related support tasks. Primary Responsibilities
Human Resources Support (Core Focus)
- The HR function of this role centers on ensuring that our company remains compliant, cohesive, and aligned with our culture and mission. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the development, implementation, and documentation of HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
- Helping to draft, update, and communicate policies in collaboration with leadership and department heads.
- Supporting new hire onboarding, including preparation of welcome materials, training coordination, and orientation scheduling and completion.
- Maintaining employee records and ensuring accuracy in digital HR systems.
- Coordinating company-wide training sessions, compliance courses, and professional development programs.
- Assisting with conflict resolution and employee relations by gathering documentation and helping to communicate expectations.
- Supporting the management of employee engagement programs, recognition initiatives, and internal communications.
- Conducting light research into labor law updates and recommending necessary internal adjustments.
- Acting as a confidential point of contact for HR-related questions and support beyond the scope of the Leadership team.
Marketing Support for Clients
- Although HR will be the primary focus, this position will occasionally assist with client-related marketing deliverables and administrative coordination. Tasks may include:
- Assisting marketing teams in social media scheduling, email campaign coordination, or content review when needed.
- Providing general support across key digital channels, including SEO, PPC, content writing, and basic website management.
- Supporting campaign organization, task documentation, and cross-department communication for client projects.
- Helping to maintain quality control by proofreading, reviewing timelines, and ensuring deliverables align with client expectations.
Special Projects and Operational Improvement
- As part of the Special Projects arm of this position, you’ll take on diverse initiatives assigned by the executive team, which may include:
- Assisting in the creation of new internal roles, position descriptions, and departmental structure updates.
- Developing or refining internal processes that improve efficiency, accountability, or communication across departments.
- Researching and testing potential new tools, software, and platforms to enhance company operations.
- Supporting project documentation, reporting, and rollout planning.
- Helping lead small-scale internal initiatives from concept to execution with guidance from leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- 1–3 years of experience in HR coordination, marketing, or administrative support.
- Working knowledge of HR principles and a willingness to learn new compliance and labor requirements.
- Familiarity with digital marketing platforms (social media, content management systems, email tools, SEO, etc.).
- Strong writing and communication skills; able to draft clear policies, internal updates, and marketing materials.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities; able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- High level of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Self-starter who takes initiative and demonstrates creative problem-solving abilities.
