Part-Time Human Resources Coordinator

The Part-Time Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for all Company recruiting and ensuring that the recruiting needs are met in a timely manner. Ensure all HR administrative and clerical duties are performed including employee files, new hire paperwork, and recruiting. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and exercise good judgment due to the nature of the sensitivity of information within the office.

Work Environment: This is not a remote/telecommunicating position. It is in office only, Monday through Friday, from 830 am to 1 pm.

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt employee

Main Job Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • All recruiting responsibilities:
  • Post job openings to various web sites
  • Assists with screening applicant/resumes
  • Coordinating in-person interviews
  • Participate in the hiring decisions based on the cultural fit of a candidate
  • HR administration:
  • Respond to correspondence with various recruiting and temp agencies
  • Assist with On-boarding of all new hires
  • Assist with new hire form completion and application
  • Assist with Off-boarding paperwork and systems
  • Responsible for maintaining all employee files and information.

Experience:

  • High Level Computer Skills – Microsoft Office, Calendar, Word and Excel
  • 1 – 2 years of human resources related experience

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
