Part Time Infant Nanny

Start Date: March 30th 2026

Description:A family in Detroit’s Pingree Park neighborhood is seeking an experienced nanny three days per week to care for their infant (4 months at start date). This role is ideal for someone confident with babies and comfortable being a steady, capable support for first-time parents.

The ideal candidate is easygoing, personable, and a self-starter who communicates well and is comfortable working alongside work-from-home parents. A creative, artsy caregiver is a plus. Experience with infant development is important, including comfort with milestones and introducing solids when the time comes.

This family values a nanny who is observant and engaged in the child’s day-to-day rhythms and enjoys sharing developmental insights and collaborating with parents on the best approach. The home has a cat, so comfort with pets is required.

Schedule:

• Monday, Wednesday, Friday
• 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
• Can be flexible on which days of the week and exact hours for the right candidate.

Location: Detroit, Mi

Duties:

• Bottle prep and cleanup
• General tidying up after child and self
• Organizing child's spaces, toys, and clothing as needed
• Planning and executing activities and outings as baby ages
• Providing tummy time and other opportunities for gross and fine motor development
• Assisting with sleep training, solids introductions, and meeting developmental milestones as needed

Requirements:

• 3+ years nanny experience
• Newborn and infant experience
• Reliable transportation
• Non smoker
• Vaccinated
• Comfortable in a home with cats

Pay: $25-27/hour, guaranteed 24 hours per week, PTO, sick leave, mileage reimbursement, professional development stipend, w2 employment

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
