Animal Admiration is hiring dependable, caring Pet Sitters for morning visits, with weekend opportunities available.

This position is designed as a supplemental, part-time opportunity and is not intended for full-time hours.

This role is best suited for someone who truly enjoys caring for animals and takes pride in going above and beyond for them.

About This Role:

Our visits take place in clients’ homes and may occur 1–4 times per day depending on each pet’s needs.

Morning visits are an important part of keeping pets on their routine while their owners are away.

This is flexible, but it is not casual. It requires consistency, reliability, and professionalism.

Scheduling Expectations:

• Availability for morning visits during the week
• Weekend availability required
• Must commit to at least two weekends per month
• Ability to reliably complete visits within your scheduled time window

Holiday Commitment:

• Must be available to work at least two major holidays per year
• (New Year’s, Spring Break week, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas)

Seasonal Opportunities:

Seasonal roles are available for summer and holidays and may turn into long-term opportunities if it is a good fit.

Long-Term Opportunity:

We are ideally looking for team members interested in staying 12 months or longer.

Our clients value consistency, and we prioritize keeping familiar, trusted sitters in their homes.

What a Visit Actually Looks Like:

This is an active, hands-on role.

A typical morning visit includes:

• Arriving within the scheduled time window
• Entering carefully to ensure pets do not escape
• Feeding, refreshing water, and completing care routines
• Walking dogs or providing potty breaks after checking safety
• Cleaning litter boxes or pet areas as needed
• Engaging with pets through attention and companionship
• Performing a full check of the home before leaving
• Sending a thoughtful update with photos to the client

What You Need:

• Must be 21 years or older
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
• Clean driving record and current car insurance
• Smartphone for scheduling, GPS, photos, and updates
• Ability to travel between homes
• Ability to lift at least 40 lbs
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions
• Basic pet care experience
• Must live near our service areas
• Background check and credit check required
