Part-Time Nanny Needed | Fun, Active Family Near Encinitas

Job Overview
A young, fun, and active family near Encinitas is looking for a reliable and energetic part-time nanny to help support our busy household with four children under six years old.

We’re looking for a true team player who is organized, proactive, playful with kids, and happy to jump in wherever needed. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being around little ones, can help keep mornings running smoothly, and loves creating a positive, supportive environment for a growing family. The right person will also be open to traveling with the family a few times per year, but not required.

Schedule

• Sunday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (full-day coverage)
• Monday – Friday: 6:30 AM – 8:30 AM (morning support)

Approx. 22 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Helping children get ready for the day (breakfast, getting dressed, school prep)
• Light meal prep for the kids
• School drop-offs (when needed)
• Light household support related to the children (tidying play areas, kids’ laundry, organizing)
• Engaging the kids in fun, age-appropriate activities
• Being an extra set of hands in a busy household alongside another nanny

Ideal Candidate

• Warm, upbeat, and highly dependable
• Experienced with young children (experience with multiple kids is a plus)
• Organized and proactive
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced family environment
• Clean driving record preferred
