Part-Time Office Administrator / Accounting Assistant

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented part-time Office Administrator to support our day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, comfortable handling financial and administrative tasks, and capable of working independently in a small business environment.

Duties:

  • Perform light accounting and administrative tasks
  • Invoice entry and processing
  • Accounts receivable and accounts payable tracking
  • Running and maintaining A/R and A/P reports
  • Assist with customer invoicing and payment tracking
  • Answer and manage incoming phone calls and emails
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team (quotes, order entry, documentation)
  • Maintain accurate records in internal systems
  • Help keep office operations organized and running smoothly
  • Assist with additional tasks as needed across the business

This position has the potential to evolve into a more advanced accounting or operations-focused role over time, and possibly a full-time position.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in office administration or accounting support preferred
  • Experience with accounting software also preferred; Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) experience is a strong plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and stay on top of tasks
  • Comfortable communicating with customers and internal team members
  • Self-motivated and dependable

Schedule

  • Part-time: 20–25 hours per week
  • Preferred schedule: Monday through Friday, approximately 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  • Some flexibility in hours may be available

Compensation

  • Hourly pay based on experience

We’re looking for someone who works well in a team-oriented, laid-back environment while also taking ownership of their responsibilities. The right candidate will collaborate easily with others and stay on top of their work without needing constant direction.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
