Part-Time Physician Assistant (PA) – Spine Surgery Clinic

Location: Manassas & StoneSprings, Virginia
Start Date: May/June 2026

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Part-Time Physician Assistant (PA) to join our busy spine surgery practice. This role is clinic-based and primarily involves the care of post-operative surgical patients, as well as select new and follow-up patients without advanced imaging.

Schedule:

• Thursdays: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Rotation: 2 Thursdays/month in Manassas, 2 Thursdays/month in StoneSprings
• Fridays: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Same rotation as Thursdays

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and manage post-operative surgical patients
• Conduct follow-up visits and assess recovery progress
• See new patients without advanced imaging (initial evaluations)
• Collaborate closely with the supervising physician and clinical team
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in EMR
• Provide patient education and support regarding treatment plans and recovery

Qualifications:

• Active Physician Assistant license in the state of Virginia
• NCCPA certification required
• Prior experience in orthopedics, spine, or surgical practice preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinic environment

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)
