WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Receptionist, you’ll serve as the first point of contact for customers and visitors, ensuring every interaction reflects professionalism, efficiency, and care. You will:

➤ Provide exceptional customer service as the first point of contact, both in person and over the phone
➤ Operate a multi-line phone system and route incoming calls promptly and professionally
➤ Transfer calls quickly to the appropriate department or utilize the paging system when necessary
➤ Minimize caller hold times and check back frequently with callers to ensure continued assistance
➤ Take thorough, detailed messages and deliver them to the appropriate party in a timely manner
➤ Screen incoming calls as requested by management
➤ Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate department or personnel
➤ Develop knowledge of basic dealership operations to assist with general inquiries
➤ Notify the IT department of any phone system issues
➤ Learn and retain knowledge of the dealership’s business operating system
➤ Maintain a professional appearance and neat, organized work area
➤ Adhere to all health and safety policies to reinforce Hunter’s culture of a safe work environment

WHAT YOU BRING

• Education & Experience:

High School Diploma or GED required.

• Certificates & Licenses:

Valid Driver’s License required; must meet company insurability standards

• Skills & Abilities:

Strong verbal communication and customer service skills. Ability to read and interpret documents such as memos, policies, and safety rules. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and manage multiple tasks in a structured environment.

• Physical Requirements:

Regular sitting throughout the workday. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. Vision abilities include close vision and focus adjustment.
