Responsibilities:
Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is experiencing unprecedented growth. As a result of our success, we have a part-time position available for an Experienced Process Controls Engineer to join our EPC team.
The Process Controls Engineer will have work assignments that include:

Instrumentation and controls design
-
PLC and HMI programming
- Design of control panels, power and control electrical to process equipment, and other facility systems

Participate in field testing (I/O verification, operational readiness testing, functional & performance testing), commissioning, training, and startup services of Mead & Hunt designed and constructed systems.
Some travel will be required to visit client facilities for controls engineering related tasks and commissioning.
The successful candidate must have all of the following:

B.S. degree (or higher) in engineering (chemical, electrical, or mechanical) or related field of study from an accredited college or university.

At least 18 years of relevant experience
The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:
-
Working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) (Rockwell, Modicon, Siemens and other), human machine interface (HMI) development and Microsoft Office programs.

Utilizing advanced computer skills in areas such as networking, troubleshooting, custom building, programming, and alternative operating systems is a plus, but not required.

Prior experience with food & beverage processes.

Prior experience in construction or engineering consulting is a plus, but not required.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

PE Preferred
