Part-Time Social Media Assistant

Job description:

We are looking for a motivated and eager-to-learn Social Media Assistant to join our team immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build hands-on skills and gain real-world experience in social media management. You will work alongside our social media team to help execute strategies, create engaging content, and support our online community.

This role is perfect for a quick learner who is proactive and excited to dive into the dynamic world of social media. We need someone who can start as soon as possible—even tomorrow!

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

• Assisting with scheduling and publishing content across various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).
• Helping to create engaging graphics, short videos, and other visual content using basic design tools (e.g., Canva).
• Monitoring social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions, and engaging with our community in a timely manner.
• Conducting research on social media trends, hashtags, and competitor activity.
• Assisting with the preparation of simple reports on post performance and engagement metrics.
• Supporting the team with content ideation and brainstorming for campaigns.
• Organizing and managing digital assets (photos, videos, graphics).

Must-Possess Qualities:

• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, self-starter with a willingness to learn and take direction.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.).
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to adapt to changing priorities.
• Reliable and able to meet deadlines.
• While not required, experience with basic content creation tools like Canva is a plus.
