Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies to enhance our online presence, engage with our audience, and promote our brand. This role requires a strong understanding of social media marketing, content creation, and digital marketing trends.
Duties
- Develop and execute social media campaigns across various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Create engaging content tailored to each platform, including graphics, videos, and written posts.
- Utilize tools such as Hootsuite and Buffer for scheduling posts and managing social media accounts efficiently.
- Conduct keyword research and implement SEO strategies to improve organic reach and engagement.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, audience feedback, and competitor activity through social listening techniques.
- Analyze performance metrics using Google Analytics and web analytics tools to assess the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall branding and marketing strategies.
- Manage relationships with influencers and other partners to enhance brand visibility.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in digital marketing, e-commerce, and social media management.
- Proofread all content to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience in social media management or related fields such as public relations or digital marketing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva or CapCut) for graphic design tasks.
- Strong skills in content creation, including photography and video editing capabilities.
- Familiarity with Facebook Advertising and other paid advertising platforms is a plus.
- Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
- Strong understanding of branding principles and e-commerce strategies.
- Ability to analyze data using web analytics tools to inform decision-making processes.

- Content Creation & Scheduling
- Design engaging posts (graphics, reels, stories, carousels) for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule aligned with our marketing calendar.
- Implement themed campaigns (speaker spotlights, vendor previews, sponsor/vendor highlights).
- Support paid social media advertising campaigns.
- Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly.
- Engage with followers, vendors, and sponsors to increase visibility.
- Analytics & Reporting
- Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversions).
- Provide weekly reports and recommendations for optimization
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
