Summary:

The Marketing Coordinator at Tony’s Mexican Restaurant is a creative and strategic professional who leads the planning and execution of the company’s marketing efforts. This role demands a creative and experienced individual who can manage all aspects of marketing, from digital platforms and content creation to physical marketing and community engagement. The Marketing Coordinator is essential in building brand recognition, driving customer engagement, supporting sales growth, and ensuring the brand maintains a strong and consistent presence both online and within the restaurant.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement comprehensive marketing plans to increase sales, customer engagement, and overall brand visibility.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer behavior, and competitive positioning.
  • Manage and enhance the company’s social media presence across all social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, etc.
  • Maintain and regularly update the company’s website and app regularly to ensure accuracy and strong customer engagement.
  • Develop and manage an editorial calendar for consistent social media, website, and app content and posting.
  • Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, push notifications, SEO/SEM strategies, and online advertising.
  • Uphold and promote the restaurant’s brand image and ensure consistency in messaging across all channels.
  • Coordinate and conduct regular photo and video shoots to showcase the restaurant’s food, ambiance, and events.
  • Support restaurant sales through creative content, brand storytelling, and community engagement.
  • Organize and promote events, partnerships, and collaborations to boost community engagement.
  • Review and respond to customer messages, comments, and feedback on social media and third-party platforms.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing initiatives, providing regular updates.
  • Send reports to supervisors regularly with key information in the marketing department, summarizing marketing activity, numbers, metrics, campaign updates, upcoming initiatives, and more.
  • Coordinate and update physical marketing materials in the restaurant, such as table tents, front displays, decorations, and digital signage.
  • Plan and execute seasonal or event-based in-restaurant promotions and ensure all related materials and decorations are prepared and updated at least one week in advance.
  • Ensure all in-store marketing and decorations are maintained, relevant, and aligned with current promotions or holidays.
  • Ensure timely seasonal and promotional decor installation.
  • Plan and organize marketing events, coordinating with internal staff or outside vendors as needed.
  • Design digital and print materials as needed for campaigns, promotions, signage, social media, and in-store displays.
  • Respond promptly to all promotional or marketing-related requests from restaurant management in a timely manner via email.
  • Perform additional tasks assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of marketing strategies, social media platforms, and content creation best practices.
  • Good eye for catching imperfections in photos and edits to ensure all visuals are attractive and polished.
  • Proficiency with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Studio, or similar software.
  • Experience planning, coordinating, and executing photo and video shoots.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with great attention to detail.
  • Highly organized with strong multitasking and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively with others.
  • Familiarity with marketing analytics tools to monitor and report on campaign performance.
  • Strong customer service mindset.
  • Ethical conduct at all times.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Additional coursework or certifications in marketing, communications, or related fields are a plus but not required.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of marketing experience required.
  • Experience in restaurant or food service marketing is highly preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
