Job Type: Part-time (approx. 2 days/week, 4–6 hours/day)

Location: Private home bakery (garage-based), [Lauderhill/Sunrise]

We are a small artisan sourdough bakery serving a loyal and growing local community. We bake fresh sourdough bread weekly and are expanding our customer base. We take pride in quality, tradition, and craft.

The Role:

We're looking for an experienced sourdough baker to join us part-time — roughly two days a week (Thursday afternoons/evenings for dough prep and Fridays for baking), with flexible hours. You'll work hands-on in a home garage bakery environment, helping improve our existing product and potentially developing new offerings.

Responsibilities:

Assist with dough preparation and weekly baking

Help refine and improve sourdough recipes and techniques

Potentially develop new bread or baked goods products

Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards

What We're Looking For:

Hands-on experience with sourdough fermentation and baking

Passion for artisan bread and quality craft

Self-motivated and comfortable working in a small, informal setting

Reliable and able to commit to a consistent weekly schedule

Compensation: $18–$23/hour, based on experience
