Part-time Tutor

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in curriculum development and classroom management, with experience working with students of various ages, including preschool to high school. This role involves utilizing learning technology to enhance the educational experience. Curriculum will be provided. The Tutor will play a vital role in educating students, fostering a positive learning environment, and helping them achieve their academic goals.

Duties

• Develop and implement individualized lesson plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain an orderly and productive learning environment.
• Communicate clearly with students to explain concepts and provide constructive feedback.
• Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages student participation and engagement.
• Integrate learning technology into lessons to enhance understanding and retention of material.
• Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other educational professionals to support student development.
• Provide tutoring in specific subjects as required, ensuring mastery of content.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably in a classroom or remote setting
• Familiarity with learning technologies that can aid in instruction.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage a classroom effectively while maintaining student engagement.
• Experience working with school-aged children is a plus.
• A passion for education and a commitment to student success.
• NEED TO HAVE AFTERNOON TIMES AVAILABLE (after 3 pm EDT)
• NEED TO HAVE SOME DAYTIME AVAILABLE 8am-3pm EDT for SOME DAYS
