Part Time Video Editor

Job Title: Part Time Video Editor (YouTube & Podcast Studio)

Location: Karachi (On-site)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: PKR 75,000 month - Monday to Thursday Only
Timing: 2 pm to 7 or 8 pm.

Job Overview:

We’re hiring a creative, hands-on videographer and editor who can independently manage video shoots, podcast setups, and post-production editing with a modern twist: incorporating AI-generated visuals (e.g. Midjourney, Runway, Pika) into powerful documentary-style content.

If you can shoot with a cinematic eye, edit with emotional pacing, and blend AI visuals with real footage, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shoot cinematic video content (documentaries, interviews, reenactments)
• Operate DSLR/mirrorless cameras, podcast mics, lighting, and audio gear
• Set up and manage podcast studio shoots (multi-cam, audio, background)
• Edit long-form videos (20–30 mins) with storytelling pace and drama
• Integrate AI-generated visuals (Runway ML, Pika, Midjourney, D-ID, etc.) into story flow
• Collaborate with scriptwriters and voiceover artists to match visuals with narration
• Design and animate titles, lower thirds, and transitions using After Effects or similar tools
• Export optimized videos for YouTube (including thumbnails and timestamps)

Required Skills:

• Video editing: Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects
• AI tools: Working knowledge of Runway, Midjourney, Pika, D-ID or similar tools
• Creative mindset with visual storytelling ability
• Strong sense of pacing, cinematic mood, and emotional connection
• Organized workflow for project delivery and backup

Qualifications:

• 4–5 years of experience in video editing
• Experience with documentary, storytelling, or cinematic content is essential
• Proven ability to integrate AI-generated content in visual storytelling
• Portfolio showcasing previous video edits and AI-integrated content (must include links)
• Fluency in Urdu; basic English comprehension for script alignment
