Overview:
Vista Aircraft Maintenance is seeking to hire a Parts Clerk for our Part 145 Repair Station in Van Nuys, CA. The Parts Clerk reports directly to the Parts Supervisor and plays a vital role ensuring the seamless and efficient operation of our maintenance facility by managing aviation parts inventory.
Vista Aircraft Maintenance is the in-house maintenance provider for the Vista Members’ fleet, which comprises an unrivalled fleet of light, super mid-size, long-range and ultra-long-range aircraft. Vista Aircraft Maintenance has multiple maintenance hubs strategically located across the U.S. and Europe. The salary range for this position is $23-$28 per hour.
Parts Clerk Responsibilities:

Perform receiving inspection of parts and materials to ensure conformity with FAA regulations and customer requirements

Process core returns to vendors

Ensure conformity with FAA regulatory requirements (Calibration, certification, shelf life, parts quarantine)

Thoroughly inspect tools as issued to and received from technicians

Perform regular inventory, cycle counts and maintain min/max requirements

Maintain cleanliness and organization of parts department

Flexible schedule as required to meet the demand of the business

Pull parts from inventory requested by technicians

Maintain inventory stock levels and notify materials coordinators of parts needing to be reordered

Pick up and deliver parts and materials as needed
Qualifications:

HS Diploma Required
-
Knowledge of corporate aircraft parts preferred. Gulfstream, Cessna, Bombardier, Embraer is a plus

Strong organizational and communication skills

Strong computer skills including excel, word and outlook
