Essential Functions:

This position is responsible for:

  • Approaching work with a Continuous Improvement (CI) mindset, and engaging in Producers Dairy Mission Statement to identify, value, prioritize, resource, and sustain improvement opportunities.
  • Owning and promoting a Safety Culture by ensuring a safe work environment and promoting proper safety behavior.
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality are an essential function of this positon.
  • Point person for all parts and supply ordering
  • Orders parts and supplies as necessary for repair orders and inventory
  • Initiates and verifies returns and proper credit of return parts to vendors
  • Issues purchase orders and verifies proper receipt of order
  • Inputs data into parts and supply tracking software (Dossier)
  • Conducts scheduled inventories on stocked parts
  • Positive interface with technicians and leadership from multiple departments
  • Communicates with technicians to ensure parts are in stock for needed repairs
  • Works with vendors to get estimates and availability for needed parts
  • Enter invoices and other recorded information into Dossier Fleet Management System
  • Enter repair order records (PM service records and other repair information)
  • Audit repair orders and communicate with Garage Administrator for needed correction
  • Maintain files associated with daily shop and truck operations, Hazmat, MSDS, etc.
  • Log miles for fuel usage for fleet vehicles
  • Positive interface with technicians and leadership from multiple departments
  • Process documents from DMV and other government agencies
  • Work safely and follow company safety standards
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness
  • Perform various other duties as assigned by supervisor

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Minimum:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Demonstrated organization and accuracy skills; self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple projects/tasks with competing deadlines. Must demonstrate the ability to solve problems, accept constructive feedback and show flexibility should priorities and/or deadlines change.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills and a high degree of emotional intelligence. Must be able to build productive relationships across all levels of an organization.

Hourly: $23.18 - $25.75
