We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. Duties

• Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes.
• Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair, ensuring presentation meets our quality standards.
• Package finished products for sale or catering events, maintaining attention to detail in presentation.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including measuring ingredients and mixing batters.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new pastry items and seasonal offerings.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or during catering events.

Skills

• Proven pastry experience with a strong foundation in baking techniques.
• Proficient in cake decorating and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
• Strong culinary experience with an emphasis on the food industry.
• Excellent knife skills for precise cutting and preparation of ingredients.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining quality standards.
• Previous experience in catering or restaurant settings is preferred but not required.
