The Pastry Chef is responsible for creating, preparing, and presenting a wide variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods. This role requires creativity, precision, and consistency to ensure high-quality products that align with the company’s standards and delight customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, breads, and other baked goods.
  • Develop new recipes and seasonal menus to keep offerings innovative and appealing.
  • Decorate and present pastries with attention to detail and aesthetics.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of baking equipment and tools.
  • Monitor ingredient quality, freshness, and stock levels; place orders as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry section of the kitchen.
  • Train, supervise, and support junior pastry staff.
  • Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Collaborate with other chefs to coordinate menu planning and event requirements.
