Pastry Chef

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and bake a wide variety of pastries, desserts, breads, and bakery products.
  • Produce croissants, bread, baguettes, and other baked goods while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Create and decorate customized cakes based on client or business requirements.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, portioning, and product quality.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards within the pastry section.
  • Follow recipes, portion controls, and daily production schedules.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen team to meet daily production and operational needs.
  • Properly handle ingredients, tools, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role.
  • Proven ability to prepare different types of pastries and baked products.
  • Strong knowledge of croissant, bread, and baguette preparation.
  • Experience in customized cake making and decoration.
  • Sample photos and videos of previous pastry work are required for screening.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Willingness to work under company-provided accommodation and transportation.
  • Good time management, creativity, and attention to detail.
