Key Job Responsibilities-

• Patent Drafting: Translating inventor ideas into technical, legal documents (specifications and claims) that clearly define the scope of protection.
• Prior Art Search & Analysis: Conducting patentability searches to analyze potential novelty, non-obviousness, and utility.
• Patent Prosecution: Interacting with patent offices, such as the Indian Patent Office or USPTO, by filing applications and addressing objections or rejections (Office Actions).
• Claim Amendments: Amending claims to overcome office objections, often by narrowing the scope to distinguish the invention from prior art.
• Client Interaction: Advising inventors on patentability, patent strategy, and interpreting patent laws.
