Patient Assistance Representative

Reports to

The Patient Assistance Representative reports to the Chief Executive Officer.

Subordinates

No positions report to the Patient Assistance Representative.

Objectives

The Patient Assistance Representative is responsible for all claims assistance for patients. This includes our patient assistance program, pharmacy/member outreach, prior authorization updates, and general customer services.

FTE Status

This position is full time /1 FTE. Work hours will be 9am-5pm, Central Standard Time, Monday through Friday.

Operational Duties and Responsibilities

1. Oversee the patient assistance program.

a. Manage the master document and keep it updated.

b. Communicate weekly with PAP patients that are in the application process.

c. Serve as the liaison between the manufacturer, pharmacy, doctors office, and patient.

2. Assist PA Logic with prior authorizations.

3. Member and pharmacy outreach to include but not limited to copays, medication coverage, and claims adjudication overrides.

4. Communicate with RxSense and assist with patient needs alongside them.

Duties will remain fluid and work alterations, substitutions or additions can be made at the discretion of the Chief Executive Officer.

Education

High School Diploma Required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

1. Proficient in MS Outlook, MS Office, MS Excel, and Google Sheets.

2. Proficient with technology and ability to learn multiple software programs.

3. Ability to operate and train on office machines and equipment (e.g., fax machines and printers)

4. Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently.

5. Demonstrate strong customer service skills.

6. Ability to problem solve and have a high level of attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
