We are a Neurosurgical, Orthopedic and Pain Management Clinic that provides care to personal injury patients. Our founder felt that there was a gap in medical access to patients that have suffered from car accidents or any other type of personal injury. This is why he created Stridewell clinic, so that everyone could have access to specialist care regardless of how their symptoms began. We take great pride in our practice and are looking to grow our team with the addition of a patient coordinator/medical assistant. This position will include, but not be limited to, working closely with the providers and patients, onboarding patients, and sending referrals for treatment. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent care for the patients.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates knowledge and skills of the clinical processes as they pertain to standing orders, medication & imaging review, charting, patient identification, and patient scheduling
  • Onboard patients
  • Room patients, set up for procedures, assist with procedures as needed
  • Conduct DME fittings
  • Complete FMLA paperwork and work notes
  • Request medical records
  • Mange referrals and coordinate patient recommendations with Office Manager
  • Provides updates on procedure supplies and inventory
  • Schedule follow-up appointments
  • Fielding phone calls regarding patient concerns via text, email or phone
  • Assist with in-office injections
  • Manage assigned faxes
  • Chart prepare for their clinic days
  • Ability to drive between clinics if needed

Knowledge/ Skills:

  • Knowledge of HIPPA rules and regulations
  • Excellent work ethic, dependable, positive attitude, organized, productive, detail-oriented, multi-tasking
  • Excellent verbal and writing communication skills
  • Friendly and outgoing personality
  • Time management skills
  • Ability to use office equipment: computer, scanner, printer
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Fluent in Spanish, knowledge of Spanish medical terminology a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred)
