Duties & Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and assist them with appointment scheduling, check-in, and check-out procedures
  • Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details, payments, and demographic data
  • Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems to accurately document patient interactions and medical records
  • Handle billing responsibilities, including posting and CPT coding
  • Follow up on unpaid claims and collections
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as preparing reports, managing correspondence, and supporting office operations

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in a medical office setting or healthcare administrative role
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients, providers, and insurance representatives
  • Understanding of medical collection processes and insurance claim workflows
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with medical coding or EHR software is a plus
  • Positive, patient-centered attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional care

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
