Patient Experience Specialist

Lonerock Clinic, an integrative primary care and psychiatry practice based in Eugene and Roseburg OR, is hiring a warm, organized remote receptionist to be the friendly first voice our patients hear. This is likely a remote, phone-and-computer-based role with minimal (if any) in-office time, though would be open to in-office availability in Roseburg OR.

What you'll do

• Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally from your home office; route messages accurately
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments in the EHR
• Verify patient demographics and insurance; update records electronically
• Coordinate virtually with clinical and administrative staff on intakes, referrals, and follow-ups
• Respond to patient portal messages and secure emails in a timely manner

What we're looking for

• Genuinely cheerful, patient-first phone presence — calm, clear, and reassuring
• Proficiency with an EHR (eClinicalWorks experience a plus) and strong general computer skills
• Strong grasp of medical office ethics: HIPAA compliance, patient confidentiality, and respectful handling of sensitive behavioral health information
• Self-disciplined and reliable working independently; excellent time management
• A private, HIPAA-appropriate home workspace with secure high-speed internet and minimal background noise
• High school diploma required; prior medical front-office or remote reception experience preferred
