Patient Financial Services Representative

  • GENERAL DESCRIPTION
    • The Patient Financial Services Associate performs varied clerical accounting skills associated with patient accounts and insurance billing. Also includes patient account insurance follow-ups, self-pay balances and patient refunds.
  • EDUCATION & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
    • Work requires knowledge of basic grammar and mathematical principles normally required through a high school education, with some postsecondary education preferred.
    • Additional training or working knowledge of related business preferred.
    • Knowledge of computers, printers, copy machines, adding machines, postage machines and fax machines.
  • WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
    • Two years of experience working in hospital finance, physician office or billing and collections or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
Salary Range
$18.00 - $25.20

Location: Buchanan County Health Center · BC BUSINESS OFFIC
Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift, Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm
