Patient Service Representative / Front Desk Receptionist

Job Summary
Looking for reliable team players who are willing to learn and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment. We are a growing multi-group practice that specializes in family medicine, pain management, orthopedics, and urgent care. Seeking Patient Service Representatives to join a team of medical professionals in the Kaneohe area.

Job Duties / Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors in person and on the telephone in a professional and friendly manner

- Answer and direct phone calls in a timely and courteous manner

- Collaborate with the medical team to deliver quality care in outpatient, and urgent care settings

- Checking in patients for their appointments and collecting insurance co-payments at the time of visits.

- Handle medical administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records, updating and verifying insurance coverage

- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and ensuring a comfortable environment
- Collaborate with the medical team to deliver quality care in outpatient, and urgent care settings

- Maintain a clean and organized office environment adhering to HIPAA guidelines

Skills
- Proficiency in computerized medical health systems, including patient scheduling and billing software.
- Strong commuication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain cofidentiality and adhere to HIPAA Standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Hours of Operations:

Kaneohe Office Hours: Daily 8:00 am - 7:00pm; Must be available to work rotating weekends.
